Additional opinions Derek H “This is what I have recommended to our crew: 1 one liter Smartwater bottle with the sport cap 1 one liter wide mouth bottle like Gatorade or Powerade for drink mixes 2 two liter collapsible bottles 1 spare Smartwater cap This all weighs less than 1 Nalgene and also allows us to skip the 2.5 gallon water containers on the packing list (who would carry those?) and spreads the weight plus gives us some redundancy in case of a leak.” If you are rough on your gear However, I often recommend that scouts and even adults that don’t pay as much attention to their gear carry at least 1L of more durable storage like a heavy, but harder-to-break Nalgene 1L bottle

My husband and I personally have used the REI Half Dome 2 tent, but other great recommendations are the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 person tent
